Job summary

Blue Bear Heating & Air is seeking experienced HVAC Lead Install Technicians to join a dynamic, high-performing team focused on exceptional customer experience. The role requires 5+ years in installation and service, EPA certification, and proficiency with installation of air handlers and ductwork.

You'll operate company vehicles, maintain safety standards, document work, and educate customers. Relocation to Palmetto, FL may be required; a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC installation and service experience, diagnosing and repairing diverse HVAC issues.
• Type I & II EPA Certification required.
• Clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to exceed client expectations.
• Experience with installing air handlers, duct systems, and performing startups.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, and service HVAC systems on a range of projects.
• Educate clients on system operation and maintenance requirements.
• Document service performed and recommendations made.
• Build client relationships through excellent communication and service.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and in compliance with standards.
• Use ServiceTitan or similar software for service orders and reporting.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• 5+ years of HVAC installation and service experience, including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC system issues
• Type I & II EPA Certification
• Clean driving record to operate a company vehicle
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
• Proficient in installing air handler units and performing system startups
• Proficient in installing flexible duct systems, plenums, and distribution boxes
• Successfully perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on commercial heating and air conditioning systems
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Build client relationships through strong communication and outstanding customer service
• Educate clients on their systems and maintenance requirements
• Document service performed and recommendations made
• Complete all tasks in accordance with quality and safety standards
• Experience using ServiceTitan or similar software is a plus
