Job summary

Concord is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our New Orleans hotel to join the Engineering team. You will ensure all equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently, assist with preventative maintenance and repairs, and contribute to a comfortable environment for guests and staff.

The role emphasizes HVAC expertise, routine system checks, and maintaining logs. On-site, you will work across maintenance tasks, respond to emergencies, and support energy conservation initiatives to uphold

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems preferred.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and customer-focused with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• General Hotel Maintenance & Operations: report on time in full uniform; perform plumbing, electrical, and hardware repairs; maintain tools and logs.
• Primary HVAC & Split System Service: diagnose, service, repair, and maintain split-system A/C units, air handlers, heat pumps, condensers; perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Safety, Energy & Emergency Response: monitor systems, respond to emergencies, conserve energy, maintain safe work environment.
• Leadership & Professional Development: train staff, share knowledge, and model continuous self-improvement.
