Job summary

University of Cincinnati is seeking a Master HVAC professional to perform advanced HVAC work and supervise Air Quality workers. The role requires EPA refrigeration certification, an approved related apprenticeship certificate, and at least one year of related experience.

A valid driver's license with a good record is also required. Responsibilities include pipefitting, preventive maintenance, reading blueprints, and coordinating with other trades.

Qualifications

• Approved certificate from an accredited related apprenticeship program.
• Two years of related work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
• Must have an EPA refrigeration certificate.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
• One year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipefitting and install, repair, adjust or modify refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment; repair supporting systems.
• Plan, implement and perform preventive maintenance on equipment and inspect for proper assembly and safety.
• Read blueprints and layouts to determine materials, time, and costs; prepare reports and work orders.
