Job summary

Lennox is hiring an HVAC Lab Technician in Carrollton, TX. The role tests prototype units, devises new components, and documents results. Candidates need a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 5 years of related experience; a two-year degree is preferred.

Excellent communication and detailed knowledge of blueprints and technical plans are required. Work is 2pm–10:30pm with overtime opportunities. Lennox offers tuition reimbursement, health insurance, a 401(k), disability coverage, paid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two year degree or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 5 years related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Responsibilities

• Test complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions.
• Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.
• Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan fabrication requirements, as well as assembly and testing requirements.
• Record test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data.
• Help prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Assist in establishing work load completion dates.
• This is a 2nd shift position (2pm - 10:30pm)
