Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Lab Technician for the Buena Vista, VA area to set up and test equipment, calibrate measurement systems, and compile test results.

You will work with HVAC&R related design and testing, ensuring safety and quality across tests while coordinating with Quality and Engineering teams. The role is full-time, salaried non-exempt and based on site in Buena Vista, VA.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline preferred plus 4–8 years of technical work experience or 7–11 years equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC&R design and operation, fixture design and fabrication, instrumentation and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test equipment per Laboratory Work Orders and written instructions.
• Perform computer/data acquisition setups and run tests.
• Assist with calibration of measurement systems and ensure safety compliance per OSHA standards.
• Generate test reports and manage test articles and parts.
• Support Quality and Engineering in failure analysis and corrective actions.
