CMI in Florida seeks an experienced HVAC Journeyman/Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair a range of HVAC systems, with focus on safety, efficiency and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a 3–5 year apprenticeship and a valid Journeyman HVAC license, plus strong knowledge of electrical and refrigeration piping, brazing and wiring diagrams. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work on roofs.

Qualifications

• Completed a 3–5 year apprenticeship program.
• Valid Journeyman HVAC license.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electricity, refrigeration piping, brazing, and wiring diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Installation: Install new HVAC units, ductwork, piping, and components following blueprints.
• Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning to ensure system efficiency.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues; repair or replace components.
• Control Systems: Install and calibrate thermostats, automation controls, and safety devices.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA safety protocols and ensure code compliance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work orders and materials used.
