Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking a Mechanical Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, and rooftops. The role requires diagnosing issues, interpreting schematics, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.

Candidates should have a valid Florida driver license, relevant industry certifications, and be capable of working overtime or on-call.

Qualifications

• Hold aFL driver license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Obtain and maintain all required industry certifications
• Able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment
• Basic computer skills
• Able to explain technical information to non-technical customers
• Positive self-starter who is motivated, coachable, and flexible
• Willing to work overtime or on-call shifts as needed to support customer and company needs

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures and diagnose proper repairs on commercial HVAC equipment, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company standards
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently
• Set up, operate, and maintain HVAC systems
• Promote safe work practices in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations
• Accurately apply mathematical formulas to determine system tonnage requirements
• Complete all necessary paperwork promptly
• Consistently strive for high-quality results that meet or exceed performance standards
