Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in HVAC systems.
• Experience in training diverse learners and adapting methods.
• Ability to design lesson plans, labs and assessments for vocational programs.
• Trade school/Job Corps experience is beneficial.
• Relevant HVAC/plumbing certifications or licensure preferred.
• Strong communication, classroom management and mentoring skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced HVAC training an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach lessons aligned with program requirements.
• Demonstrate proper use of tools and equipment for HVAC systems.
• Guide students through safe installation, maintenance and repair procedures.
• Develop and update curriculum materials.
• Evaluate learner performance and provide coaching feedback.
• Maintain a safe training environment and document progress.
• Collaborate with instructional staff and support job readiness activities.
• Assist with certifications and industry standards awareness.
