Job summary

Lee College Huntsville Center seeks an instructional HVAC instructor to teach freshmen and sophomore HVAC courses to Texas Department of Criminal Justice residents. The role requires commitment to student learning, integration of technology, and maintaining accurate records on campus.

Faculty are expected to work 35 hours weekly, participate in development and committees, and may teach in various formats across campuses including evenings or online courses.

Qualifications

• Requires HVAC degree with substantial experience or equivalent years in HVAC.
• Must pass criminal background check and annual security trainings.
• On-campus presence 35 hours per week and willingness to teach varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC courses to TDCJ residents according to approved syllabi.
• Maintain accurate student records and submit reports as required.
• Assess learning and provide counseling to students as needed.
• Participate in professional development, committees, and college activities.
• May teach evening, weekend, summer, online, hybrid, or dual credit classes.
