Job summary
Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) seeks an HVAC/R instructor to join the Manufacturing, Construction, and Transportation Pathway. You will prepare and deliver instruction, manage classrooms and laboratories, and develop curriculum to maintain program effectiveness.
The role requires industry experience, EPA 608 Universal certification, and teaching or equivalent experience. This full-time position starts in Spring, with benefits including tuition reimbursement, health/dental/vision, and
Qualifications
- Formal HVAC/R teaching credential or related instructional experience.
- EPA 608 Universal Technician Certification is required.
- Two years of relevant HVAC/R teaching or industry experience within the last five years.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and revise course materials.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and deliver HVAC/R instruction and related activities.
- Manage classroom and laboratory environments.
- Develop and monitor curriculum to maintain course effectiveness.
- Assess student performance and advise on academic issues.
- Collaborate with advisory committees and participate in program evaluation.
