Job summary

Universal Technical Institute is seeking an experienced HVACR Instructor in Dallas to inspire and train the next generation of technicians. You will lead hands-on demonstrations, shape curriculum, and mentor students toward industry-ready skills in a dynamic, safety-focused classroom.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of practical HVACR experience and hold EPA 608/Universal or OSHA 10-30 certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVACR experience (refrigeration, commercial/residential, etc.).
• EPA 608/Universal or OSHA 10-30 certifications highly valued.
• Excellent communication and empathetic teaching approach.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate: create an engaging, inclusive learning environment for students.
• Hands-on training: lead practical demonstrations in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
• Curriculum development: collaborate with education team to update and create courses.
• Mentorship: guide and mentor students on their projects.

Position Overview:As a HVACR Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and skills of our students. Your expertise in heating and air conditioning systems and components will be the guiding light that leads them to a promising career in many different industries. Quaifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: 5 years of practical work experience in the refrigeration, commercial, residential, mini splits, boilers, etc. excludes teaching
• Certifications: EPA 608/Universal /OSHA 10-30 highly valued
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with students and fellow staff
• Patience and Empathy: A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student learns at their own pace
