Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer for residential systems in the Saginaw, MI area. You will install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless units, and ensure proper electrical and plumbing connections.

Collaboration with project managers and homeowners is essential. Minimum five years’ experience is required, with a strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as an HVAC installer or similar role in residential settings.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, especially residential units.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with current HVAC regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record; ability to meet driving requirements for company vehicle.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Job description

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing home heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. You will work closely with contractors, other technicians, and homeowners to ensure each installation is completed to the highest standards. Five years experience minimum.

Physical Demands & Cognitive Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
• Capability to perform manual tasks over extended periods.
• Physically capable of working on 30 foot ladders.
