Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling in Houston is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our expanding team. You will install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on new construction projects and work closely with other trades to ensure efficient, safe, and code-compliant installations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, HVAC-specific technical training or apprenticeship, and proven field experience.

• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and functionality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and specifications to determine layout, materials, and installation sequence.
• Perform rough-in work; layout and install duct systems, vents, baths, returns, and line sets per design and state/local codes.
• Perform finish work: set and mount air handlers, furnaces, condensers, HRVs/ERVs, thermostats, grilles, registers, and accessories; ensure proper airflow and operation.
• Install and connect refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and low-voltage/equipment wiring in accordance with diagrams, codes, and safety standards.
• Measure and determine ductwork and piping requirements; cut materials to size and assemble as necessary.
• Collaborate with project foreman and other trades to ensure cohesive and coordinated project execution.
• Comply with safety standards and regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure all installations meet safety and building code requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction projects. This role requires technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals to ensure that all systems are installed efficiently and safely.
