Job summary

GreenSavers in Bend, OR is hiring for a Level 1 HVAC Installer to support residential HVAC and water-heating installations while learning foundational tasks under supervision.

You will prepare jobsites, stage materials, use tools safely, and complete photos and checklists for closeout, with clear advancement paths as you master installation standards.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 certification or ability to obtain promptly.
• About 1+ year of related field experience or demonstrated trainee-level skills.
• Working knowledge of common hand and power tools and jobsite safety.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to follow plans and direction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and changing weather.
• Driver’s license preferred; basic electrical, sheet-metal, plumbing, or Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and protect jobsites, stage materials, and support equipment removal and placement.
• Complete assigned line-set, condensate, pad, strapping, duct, and finish-work tasks.
• Use tools safely and keep the truck, work area, and materials organized.
