Job summary

Loren's Heating & Air in Salem, OR is hiring an HVAC Installer to perform residential and light commercial installations. You’ll work with the latest technology, learn under a journeyman, and benefit from Carrier factory training.

We offer 4/10 schedules seasonally, profit sharing, and generous education reimbursement. Must have 2+ years installer experience, EPA Universal certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years field installation experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Proficiency in HVAC system design and ductwork installation.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to attend training and pursue NATE Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Residential and light commercial HVAC installations.
• Troubleshoot installations and provide customer solutions.
• Work with journeyman for hands-on training.
• Install gas pipe, refrigeration piping, furnaces, heat pumps, geothermal, radiant heat.
• Prepare and follow blueprints; ensure proper ductwork alignment.
• Provide customer service and participate in ongoing education.

Looking for someone with experience in residential and/or light commercial installations. We install the latest technology and indoor air quality products. We are a Carrier factory-authorized dealer and provide company paid training and dealer training for professional and person career growth!

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with 4/10's available seasonally. Overtime available

• Gaining hand on training and industry certifications

Required Qualifications:

• 2 + years field installation experience
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
• EPA Universal Certification
• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customer as well as company
• Ability to follow blueprints and understand technical instructions
• Willingness to attended training classes and seminar including NATE Certifications
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in HVAC from a Trade School desired

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
