Job summary

Plumbline Services, LLC is seeking HVAC Installers to join a team of energetic professionals delivering top customer service. You will educate customers on options, perform installs and replacements, and mentor apprentices on best practices across residential projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory.
• Ability to diagnose and replace HVAC components (Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, Furnaces, Air Handlers).
• Knowledge of ductwork, zone systems, thermostats, air filters/filtration.
• Experience with low/high voltage wiring.
• Basic set of HVAC installation tools; testing equipment ownership required.

Responsibilities

• Install/replace HVAC equipment including ductwork, attic/vertical splits, rooftop units.
• Maintain company vehicle in good order and stocked with tools.
• Travel to job sites and coordinate with dispatch to meet schedules.
• Design duct systems for comfort and efficiency.
• Engage homeowners to assess needs and opportunities for upgrades.
• Generate invoices and handle paperwork at the job site; process payments.

Compensation $25.00 to $40.00

Plumbline Services is currently seeking HVAC Installers to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Installers serve the customers by educating them on the available product options, removing and replacing HVAC equipment as well as installing add-on accessories when needed while providing quality work while following all applicable local and national codes. What Will I Do?

• Install/Replace HVAC equipment including, but not limited to ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump)
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer
• Design Duct Systems for Optimal Comfort and Efficiency
• Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC system which could lead to potential accessory sales or a new system replacement
• Understand company pricing program and generate appropriate customer invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments
• Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.
• Work with apprentices and entry-level installers to coach and mentor

Do I have What it Takes?

• 2+ years’ experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory, the ability to diagnose and perform replacement of HVAC related components such as Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps, Furnaces & Air Handlers, Duct Work & Zone Systems, Thermostats, Air Filters/filtration Systems, Low and high voltage wiring
• Type II EPA Certification
• Must possess and maintain a basic set of HVAC installation hand tools and be proficient in the use of testing equipment, including but not limited to wrenches, screwdrivers/nut drivers, sheet metal and ductwork tools, hammers, refrigerant gauges, manometers, magnahelic gauges, carbon monoxide detectors, psychrometers, and micron gauges. Candidates are responsible for providing their own required tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
• Working knowledge of city codes
• Service Titan experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
• Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roof
