Job summary

Lindstrom Air Conditioning & Plumbing in Florida is seeking HVAC Installers to join our dynamic team. You will install/replace HVAC equipment, including ductwork and components, and educate customers on options while ensuring compliance with local and national codes.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification required.
• 3+ years experience with refrigeration function and theory.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed expectations.
• Ability to work independently and in tight spaces, crawl into attics/roofs.
• Must possess basic hand tools and be able to operate testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install/Replace HVAC equipment including ductwork and attic/rooftop units.
• Educate customers on product options and upsell when appropriate.
• Maintain company vehicle, stock, tools, and safety equipment.
• Travel to job sites and coordinate with dispatch to manage schedules.
• Coach and mentor apprentices and entry-level technicians.

Lindstrom Air Conditioning & Plumbing is currently seeking HVAC Installers to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Installers serve the customers by educating them on the available product options, removing and replacing HVAC equipment as well as installing add-on accessories when needed while providing quality work while following all applicable local and national codes. The role will serve as a mentor and coach to both apprentice and entry-level technicians.

What Will I Do?

• Install/Replace HVAC equipment including, but not limited to ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump)
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer
• Design Duct Systems for Optimal Comfort and Efficiency
• Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interest regarding their AC system which could lead to potential accessory sales or a new system replacement
• Understand company pricing program and generate appropriate customer invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments
• Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.
• Work with apprentices and entry-level installers to coach and mentor

Do I have What it Takes?

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• 3+ years' experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory, the ability to diagnose and perform replacement of HVAC related components such as Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps, Furnaces & Air Handlers, Duct Work & Zone Systems, Thermostats, Air Filters/filtration Systems, Low and high voltage wiring
• EPA Universal Certification Required
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
• Minimum Tool Requirements Basic Hand Tools- wrenches, screwdriver/nut drives, sheet metal/duct tools, and hammer.
• Minimum Testing Equipment usage Refrigerant Gauges, Manometer, Magnarelli, C/O Detector, Psychrometer, and Micron Gauge
• Working knowledge of city codes
• Service Titan experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
• Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders, work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs
