Job Summary

Blue Mountain Construction Services in Vacaville, CA, is seeking an Experienced Residential HVAC Installer I. The role involves installation of HVAC systems, including furnaces and ductwork, primarily for residential new construction projects. Responsibilities

• Install flue vents for furnaces
• Seal duct connections with duct tape and mastic
• Run refrigerant line-sets between furnace coils and outside air conditioners
• Install furnace and coil with proper clearance
• Install and secure ductwork meeting code requirements
• Install kitchen hood vents in appropriate locations

Requirements

• Experience with HVAC startup or construction preferred
• EPA Certification is a plus
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Effective communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to read field drawings and use hand tools
• Own tools preferred
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments

Physical Requirements

• Work at multiple sites with travel involved
• Exposure to weather, dust, noise, and fumes
• Operate various tools and equipment, including vehicles
• Work in confined spaces and at heights as needed
• Stand, walk, drive, and perform physical tasks regularly
