A leading company in California is seeking a Residential HVAC Installer. You will be responsible for installing HVAC equipment in residential settings, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all installations comply with safety and operational standards. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience, a valid EPA certification, and excellent customer service skills.
Residential HVAC Installer in a Nutshell The Installer will install HVAC equipment in residential customers' homes. This includes equipment such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and other related components. What You'll Be Doing Install HVAC equipment into residential customer homes Troubleshoot equipment installation, start-up, operation, and other issues Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings Ensure the functionality of thermostats to control the HVAC system is operational Load all necessary materials and equipment required for each job into the company vehicle Follow all safety and training per company policy and procedure Ensure the company vehicle is maintained and in operating order Participate and attend all required employee meetings and training Other duties as assigned What We are Looking For 3+ years of HVAC experience Must have a valid EPA certification Ability to measure duct work and install all equipment and accessories Test and braze line sets, evacuate and charge systems Ability to complete simple, low and high-voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers, and air conditioners Must be able to lift 100 lbs Comfortable working from ladders that are 28' and possibly higher Excellent customer service skills Comfortable working outdoors in the elements High school diploma or equivalent Must have a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $20 - $40 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
