Job summary

Service Experts in Scarborough, ME is seeking an Assistant Installer to support the installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories. You will work under the supervision of the Installer or Lead Installer and contribute to high-quality installations in customers’ homes.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic HVAC knowledge, and valid driver's license, with EPA/safety certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with additional training preferred.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and related accessories.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and operate tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist Installer/Lead Installer to install HVAC equipment and accessories in customers' homes.
• Help install ducts, duct fittings, and related components.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism on site.
• Maintain and account for company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Complete paperwork neatly and on time as required.

Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawlAbility to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areasAbility to safely climb 300lb load capacity rated ladders with a 30lb tool beltNatural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perceptionAbility to lift up to 75 pounds and ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds• Minimum Experience: 0 - 2 years• Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GEDEqual Opportunity Employer.
