Residential HVAC Installer & Duct Mechanic

HERS is looking to immediately hire a Lead Residential HVAC installer to join an established HVAC company. Must have a working knowledge and one to three years of experience in the residential HVAC field, including: code requirements, standard field practices, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, as well as experience working with ductwork. Become a member of a team dedicated to top craftsmanship and quality customer service.

An HVAC company is seeking a full-time, year-round Lead Residential HVAC installer to provide high-quality, positive, and timely installation experiences for customers. The goal is to complete consistent, satisfactory installations to maximize customer relations and profitability. We seek a team player with strong communication skills and a desire to deliver honest, quality service. The ideal candidate is confident, experienced, trustworthy, and professional. This full-time position offers training. Most work will be in the Valdosta area, with occasional travel to surrounding counties. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Complete installations satisfactorily and in a timely manner;
• Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high customer satisfaction;
• Maintain a consistent record of error-free installations;
• Build and maintain professional, positive relationships with customers;
• Document processes accurately and thoroughly;
• Operate vehicles safely, with a valid license and clean driving record;
• Follow company procedures and protocols;
• Collaborate with the technical team and share information across the organization;
• Complete all paperwork neatly and on time.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of residential or light commercial installation or HVAC service experience;
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules;
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
• Ability to pass drug and background screenings;
