Job summary

Haddad Plumbing & Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our growing team in New Jersey. The role supports the HVAC department by installing, replacing, and commissioning commercial and industrial systems, ensuring work meets project specs and code requirements.

You will read blueprints, install equipment and ductwork, coordinate with managers, and maintain documentation. The position is full-time with standard hours and overtime as needed, offering benefits and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Experience installing commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills during installation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, package units, air handlers, exhaust fans, and ventilation systems.
• Install ductwork, refrigeration piping, gas piping, condensate drains, and associated HVAC components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications.
• Assemble, install, and secure HVAC equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and company standards.
• Test newly installed equipment to verify proper operation and performance.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and communicate project updates as needed.
• Deliver and transport equipment and materials to job sites when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Use and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed by the company.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full‑time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with Saturdays as needed based on project requirements.
