Job summary

Haddad Plumbing & Heating Inc. seeks an experienced HVAC Installer to join our team in New Jersey. You will install, replace, and commission commercial and industrial HVAC systems, reading blueprints and ensuring safe, compliant installations.

We offer a full-time schedule (Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., some Saturdays), with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, and holidays. A valid driver’s license and OSHA 10 are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• 3–5 years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Experience installing ductwork, piping, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, package units, air handlers, exhaust fans, and ventilation systems.
• Install ductwork, piping, condensate drains, and associated HVAC components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications.
• Assemble, install, and secure HVAC equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and company standards.
• Test newly installed equipment to verify proper operation and performance.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and communicate project updates as needed.
• Deliver and transport equipment and materials to job sites when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Use and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed by the company.
