Job description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated HVAC Installer to join our installation team in Concord, CA at Big Air Heating and Air.

Pay range: $20.00 - $35.00 an hour depending on experience + bonus

What You'll Do:

• Remove and install new residential heating and air conditioning systems, heat pumps, two-speed units, package units, split, and zoning systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions of newly installed HVAC systems and/or components and resolve problems to company guidelines and manufacturers' specifications.
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and effectively.
• Work with crane operators to help properly stage and position equipment.
• Help guide and execute the safe removal of material and equipment from rooftop to ground level using ropes, ladders, and by coordinating with crane operator staff.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the needs of the company.

Requirements:

• GED or High School Diploma
• 2+ years as an HVAC Installer
• EPA Type 2 Certification
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and may be exposed to verbal and/or physical confrontations
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, or weekends
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
