Job summary

Yellowstone Local is seeking an HVAC installer to join our North Austin Metro team. You will install heating, cooling, and air-quality systems in residential and commercial settings, following plans and specs. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and customer communication across project sites.

Ideal candidates have HVAC installation experience, read blueprints, and are proficient with common tools. Valid driver's license and EPA/NATE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience installing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret installation instructions and blueprints.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in HVAC installations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• EPA Section 608 and NATE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems per plans and manufacturer specs in residential and commercial sites.
• Remove and replace equipment; install ductwork, piping, vents, and thermostats.
• Test, commission, and verify system performance after installation.
• Troubleshoot installation issues; maintain a clean, safe job site.
• Communicate professionally with customers and teammates.

Your New Role

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial settings
• Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment as needed
• Install ductwork, piping, vents, thermostats, and other HVAC system components
• Follow installation plans, manufacturer specifications, and company proceduresTest, commission, and verify proper system performance after installation
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Complete installation documentation accurately and on time
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and supervisors
• Perform work throughout the North Austin Metro, Texas (78758) area

• Previous HVAC installation experience preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, installation methods, and hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret installation instructions, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Valid driver's license
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred
• NATE Certification or equivalent industry certification preferred
• Experience installing a variety of residential and commercial HVAC equipment is a plus
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and work in confined spaces when necessary
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship
