Job summary

Reliable Heating & Air in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Manager to oversee the installation department, coordinate scheduling, material procurement, and field crews for profitable and safe installations.

Responsibilities include dispatching, budgeting, coordinating with vendors, ensuring permits, maintaining equipment and inventory, and coaching field staff to deliver high-quality service. EPA/NATE preferred, strong communication and leadership required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading HVAC installation teams.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, building codes, and safety procedures.
• EPA and NATE certification preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and budgets.
• Experience with inventory and scheduling software.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation dispatching, warehousing, inventory, and truck stock.
• Direct creation of installation job packets and forms.
• Order materials accurately to ensure profitability.
• Assign crews to installations and coordinate procurement.
• Track unused materials and reuse or return.
• Manage trucks/warehouse stock and safety/quality.
• Schedule monthly safety meetings and conduct site/truck inspections.
• Ensure permits for installations and maintain budgeting & job costing.
• Update schedules to align with company plan and department needs.
• Resolve customer concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Process payroll data within the department and manage timekeeping.
• Coach and discipline field staff; provide technical training.
• Support Install Director and Sales Director in job costing.
• Enforce safety for install crews.
• Other duties as assigned.
