Richards Heating & Air Conditioning Co. in Falls Church, VA is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Manager to lead our residential installation team. This hands-on leadership role drives team performance, installation quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and safety.

You will balance people leadership with technical know-how, oversee scheduling, training, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. The role offers a strong team, growth potential, and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC installation or field experience.
• Leadership/management experience with Service Titan preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC installation practices and equipment.
• Ability to read installation specs, job scopes, and equipment requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to coach employees and hold teams accountable.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across sales, service, operations, and administrative teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local jobsites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily installation operations using ServiceTitan for scheduling, dispatching, and job costing.
• Coach, mentor, and develop installers and helpers, promoting internal career advancement.
• Monitor team efficiency, labor hours, and installation quality.
• Lead regular team meetings on performance, safety, and skills.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to standard.
• Partner with the Install Supervisor to perform quality audits and job site visits.
• Review upcoming jobs to ensure proper staffing, materials, and equipment preparation.
• Minimize callbacks by reviewing root causes and implementing corrective solutions.
• Collaborate with company management to ensure effective communication throughout the company departments.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Maintain a strong workplace safety culture and enforce safety standards.
