Richards Heating & Air Conditioning in Falls Church, VA is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Manager to lead our residential installation team and elevate performance, installation quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and safety.

This hands-on leadership role balances people leadership with technical know-how, coaching installers, coordinating schedules in ServiceTitan, and ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC installation or field experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience; Service Titan preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC installation practices.
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel to local jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily installation operations and scheduling.
• Coach and develop installers; promote internal career advancement.
• Monitor labor hours, efficiency, and installation quality.
• Lead team meetings on performance, safety, and skills.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Perform quality audits and job site visits with Install Supervisor.
• Staff upcoming jobs with proper resources and equipment.
• Investigate root causes; implement corrective solutions.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive team performance, installation quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and safetywhile helping skilled technicians grow and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily installation operations using ServiceTitan for scheduling, dispatching, and job costing.
• Coach, mentor, and develop installers and helpers, promoting internal career advancement.
• Monitor team efficiency, labor hours, and installation quality.
• Lead regular team meetings on performance, safety, and skills.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to standard.
• Partner with the Install Supervisor to perform quality audits and job site visits.
• Review upcoming jobs to ensure proper staffing, materials, and equipment preparation.
• Minimize callbacks by reviewing root causes and implementing corrective solutions.
• Collaborate with company management to ensure effective communication throughout the company departments.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Maintain a strong workplace safety culture and enforce safety standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of HVAC installation or field experience
• Previous HVAC leadership, supervisory or management experience along with Service Titan experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC installation practices and equipment.
• Ability to read installation specifications, job scopes, and equipment requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to coach employees and hold teams accountable.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across sales, service, operations, and administrative teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local jobsites as needed.

The starting salary for this position is $90,000 – 110,000. This is the range of the base pay only; it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the range provided.
