Ultimate Air, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician to deliver premier residential and commercial climate solutions in Luxemburg, WI.

You will own complete installation projects, ensure code-compliant workmanship, and guide apprentices through hands-on training in a collaborative environment. Qualifications include EPA Universal Certification, a valid driver’s license, drug-screen clearance, and at least 1 year of residential installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute complete residential and commercial HVAC system replacements and ductwork installations unassisted per code and manufacturer specs.
• Lay out, fabricate, seal standard ductwork and PVC drain lines for optimal airflow.
• Guide and support field apprentices on-site, modeling proper workmanship and safety protocols.
• Verify system performance, refrigerant charges, airflow, and electrical wiring for turnkey operation.
• Educate homeowners and business owners on system operation and smart controls.
• Document milestones, test readings and startup metrics using field software.

Job Overview

• Company: Ultimate Air, Inc.
• Salary/Pay Rate: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour (Based on experience) plus Commission and Annual Bonus potential.
• Location: Luxemburg, WI (Travel Required: 30% outside 30 miles).
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. until daily installation completion (Occasional weekends/on-call).
• Project Scope: Residential and Commercial HVAC Replacements, Add-ons, and Ductwork Installations.
• Mandatory Licences & Certifications: EPA Universal Certification, Valid Driver’s License.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Execute complete residential and commercial HVAC system replacements and ductwork installations unassisted in strict alignment with manufacturer specifications and safety codes.
• Lay out, fabricate, and seal standard ductwork systems, fittings, and PVC drain lines to ensure optimal airflow and long-term operating efficiency.
• Guide and support field apprentices on-site, modeling proper workmanship and safety protocols across every phase of installation.
• Verify system performance, refrigerant charges, airflow dynamics, and electrical control wiring to guarantee turnkey operation prior to job sign-off.
• Educate homeowners and business owners on system operation and smart controls in plain language to foster customer trust and high satisfaction.
• Document comprehensive project milestones, test readings, and startup metrics accurately utilizing mobile field service software.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on HVAC residential installation experience.
• Active EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record and clean background check.
• Must pass drug test.
• Proven ability to safely operate trade-related tools, ladders, and lift equipment up to 300 pounds with proper assistance.
• Demonstrated experience laying out, connecting, and sealing sheet metal and flexible ductwork per code.
• Professional verbal and written English communication skills to interact effectively with homeowners, supervisors, and trade partners.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 3 or more years of related residential and commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Completion of a formal HVAC Trade Program, Apprenticeship, or Technical Certification.
• Active NATE Core Certification with at least one specialty.
• Intermediate experience with hydronic boiler systems and commercial refrigeration.
• Proficiency with communicating equipment, smart thermostats, and multi-zone airflow systems.
