Ultimate Air, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to deliver expert diagnostic and repair solutions across residential systems in Luxemburg, WI.

You will work independently in the field, owning every call from assessment to solution while guided by a collaborative team that values craftsmanship. The role requires EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and at least 1 year of residential HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year residential HVAC service/repair experience.
• Active EPA Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues accurately.
• Execute planned maintenance, system repairs, and safety inspections unassisted.
• Educate homeowners on diagnostic findings and service options.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on safety and diagnostics.
• Maintain detailed documentation of tests, service work, and measurements.
• Protect client homes by keeping work areas clean and organized.

HVAC Service Technician - Deliver Expert Diagnostic & Repair Solutions with Ultimate Air, Inc.

Job Overview

• Company: Ultimate Air, Inc.
• Salary/Pay Rate: $28 to $34 per hour (Based on experience) plus Commission and Annual Bonus.
• Location: Luxemburg, WI (Travel Required: 30% outside 30 miles).
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Occasional evening or weekend work as needed/on-call).
• Mandatory Licences & Certifications: EPA Certification, Valid Driver’s License.

You will serve as a premier field diagnostic specialist delivering high-performance HVAC solutions across residential systems. This role empowers you to take full ownership of home comfort, efficiency, and indoor air safety while embodying a culture defined by character, respect, and technical excellence. How You Will Make an Impact

• Diagnose root causes of complex HVAC electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues accurately without guessing or cutting corners.
• Execute comprehensive planned maintenance, system repairs, and safety inspections on residential heating and cooling equipment unassisted.
• Educate homeowners with clear explanations of diagnostic findings and maintenance agreements to ensure complete system transparency.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in safety practices, diagnostic protocols, and quality craftsmanship.
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of testing results, service paperwork, and diagnostic measurements using field software.
• Safeguard client homes by maintaining orderly work areas, protecting living spaces, and leaving job sites clean.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of residential HVAC service and repair experience.
• Active EPA Certification.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Must pass drug test and background check
• Demonstrated ability to safely utilize all trade-specific diagnostic tools, soldering equipment, and ladders.
• Working knowledge of electrical and refrigeration fundamentals, system diagnostics, and basic hydronic boiler operation.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills to interact professionally with customers and field leadership.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 3 or more years of hands-on residential HVAC service troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
• Completion of a formal HVAC Trade Program, Technical Certification, or Apprenticeship.
• Active NATE Core Certification with at least one specialty.
• Completion of HVAC Interplay Training Program Level 2.
• Experience servicing communicating systems, zoning controls, and smart thermostats.
