Job summary

Travis Crawford HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical in Charlotte, NC is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician who takes pride in building comfort the right way and delivering quality work on every home installation. You will install split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, ductwork, and controls, read job scopes, maintain a clean site, and communicate progress to customers and team.

A strong eye for detail and reliability are essential, with EPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of residential HVAC installation experience requested.
• Experience installing a variety of residential HVAC systems.
• Working knowledge of airflow, electrical, refrigeration, venting, and controls.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, package units, mini-splits, and air handlers.
• Install ductwork, zoning systems, thermostats, controls, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Complete equipment changeouts, start-ups, testing, and commissioning.
• Read job scopes and prepare materials, tools, and equipment.
• Protect the customer’s home and maintain a clean work area.
• Identify installation, code, safety, and performance concerns.
• Communicate job progress and changes with customers, teammates, and management.
• Complete accurate installation documentation.
• Keep company vehicles, tools, and materials organized.
• Follow company safety, quality, and refrigerant-handling standards.
• Participate in ongoing technical and professional training.

We’re looking for an HVAC Installation Technician who takes pride in building comfort the right way.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Install split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, package units, mini-splits, and air handlers
• Install ductwork, zoning systems, thermostats, controls, and indoor air quality equipment

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Three years of residential HVAC installation experience requested, but not required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements
• Dependable, adaptable, and ready to learn
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
