Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks an HVAC Installer to install heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in new construction.

You’ll read blueprints, perform rough-in and finish work, install ductwork and equipment, and coordinate with foremen and other trades to ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant installations. The role requires reading plans, installing refrigerant piping and low-voltage wiring, and a solid understanding of HVAC components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC trade school or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Experience as an HVAC installer/tech in construction environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Knowledge of ductwork, refrigerant piping, condensate systems.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Readiness to work independently or on a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for layouts and materials.
• Perform rough-in installations, including ductwork, vents, and piping.
• Complete finish installations of HVAC equipment and controls.
• Install refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and low-voltage wiring per codes.
• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and piping to project specs.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to schedule work.
• Ensure installations meet safety and code requirements.
• Use tools safely and maintain a clean workspace.
• Identify installation issues and communicate with the project team.
• Contribute to successful project completion as needed.
