Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Installer to join our team in Tampa, Florida.

The role involves installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction environments, reading blueprints, and coordinating with foremen and other trades to ensure safe and accurate installations. The ideal candidate will have HS diploma, prior HVAC installation experience in construction, and the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical plans to determine installation layouts.
• Install rough-in ductwork, vents, baths fans, returns, and refrigerant line sets.
• Complete finish installations of air handlers, furnaces, condensers, HRVs/ERVs, thermostats, grilles, registers, and HVAC accessories.
• Install and connect refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and low-voltage/equipment wiring according to applicable codes and diagrams.
• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and piping to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with project foremen, subcontractors, and other trades to coordinate installation activities.
• Ensure HVAC installations meet project specifications, safety requirements, and building codes.
• Use tools and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Identify installation issues and communicate potential problems to the foreman or project team.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support successful project completion.

The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction environments. This role involves reading blueprints, performing rough-in and finish work, installing ductwork and equipment, and collaborating with foremen and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and specifications to determine installation layouts, materials, and sequencing.

Perform rough-in installations, including ductwork, vents, bath fans, returns, and refrigerant line sets.

Complete finish installations of air handlers, furnaces, condensers, HRVs/ERVs, thermostats, grilles, registers, and HVAC accessories.

Knowledge of ductwork, refrigerant piping, condensate systems, and HVAC equipment installation.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Valid driver's license.

HVAC technical school training or apprenticeship experience is preferred.

Technical proficiency in HVAC installation and construction practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
