We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer Mechanic Lead to join the fast-growing STR Mechanical Team. The ideal candidate brings a can-do attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a high level of customer service. This is a lead role responsible for high-quality HVAC installations on commercial construction and tenant improvement projects.

This position reports to the local VP of Construction.
QUALIFICATIONS
BEHAVIORAL PROFILE
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write clear job-related documentation and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals. Able to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret graphs when needed.
Reasoning Ability
Applies common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, and diagram-based instructions. Capable of solving routine problems and prioritizing multiple tasks in real time.
Physical Demands
While performing duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to operate tools and equipment. Frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling are expected. Regular lifting of up to 25 pounds and frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds is required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
