Firstcall Mechanical Group is seeking an HVAC Installation Mechanic Helper in Asheville, NC. This role supports installation teams, assists with ductwork and blueprint reading, and helps with on-site paperwork while maintaining safety as a priority.

The position requires 1–2 years in install mechanics, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy items and work flexible hours, including on-call shifts. Training through FirstCall Academy is available to grow skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in install mechanics.

• Availability to work flexible hours and on‑call shifts as needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and carry items up to 50 pounds.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanic Helper to join our fast‑growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can‑do attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and a high level of customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Help technicians install equipment and duct work
• Assist technicians in completing daily paperwork and record materials used on each job accurately
• Learn to fabricate duct fittings and layout jobs
• Understand how to read a blueprint
• Perform all jobs with safety first in mind

Accountabilities

• Engage in continual learning through FirstCall Academy to ensure a high skill level in the industry
• Maintain an elite level of customer service to be the first call for HVAC needs
