POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanic Helper to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of customer service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help technicians install equipment and ductwork
• Help technicians complete their paperwork daily, and record materials used on each job, in an accurate manner
• Learn how to fabricate duct fittings and layout job
• Understand how to read a blueprint
• Perform all jobs with safety first in mind

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Continual learning and development in the body of knowledge through FirstCall Academy, to ensure we set the bar for skill level in the industry
• Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the FirstCall our customers make for their HVAC needs

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

This position reports to the local Project Manager and is responsible for engaging with the install team and all of our customers.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Available to work flexible hours
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and ability to lift and regularly carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Sufficient physical ability to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by projects
