Job summary

Ultimate Heating & Air, Inc is seeking an Install Manager to lead residential HVAC installation, build strong crews, and keep jobs on schedule and on budget. You will ensure every install meets code and company standards, while coaching helpers to become lead installers and maintaining a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.

You’ll be responsible for safety, field support, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, service, warehouse, and ops teams to keep equipment and handoffs running

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Experience leading install crews as a lead installer, foreman, supervisor, or manager.
• Strong knowledge of equipment changeouts, ductwork, gas piping, electrical, airflow, and local codes.
• Experience with permits, inspections, and code compliance.
• A track record of reducing callbacks and raising install quality.
• Comfort managing schedules, labor hours, and job costs.
• The confidence to hold crews accountable while keeping morale high.
• EPA 608 certification (preferred).
• Experience with field-service software (ServiceTitan or similar) a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support residential install crews, from helpers to lead installers.
• Run job-site and post-install quality checks so every system is installed to code and company standard.
• Plan crew assignments and daily workload with dispatch and sales so jobs start and finish on time.
• Manage labor hours, materials, and equipment usage to hit job budgets and department margin.
• Keep permits, inspections, and code compliance moving without delays.
• Onboard new installers and build a clear path from helper to lead.
• Make sure crews show up on time, protect the home, leave it clean, and resolve install issues fast.
• Set and enforce job-site safety standards.
• Partner with sales, service, warehouse, and ops leaders to keep equipment, parts, and handoffs running smoothly.
• Jump in on complex installs and troubleshoot when crews need you
