Job summary

Ultimate Heating in Garden City, ID is seeking an Install Manager to lead residential HVAC installation crews, ensure on-time start to finish, and uphold top-quality workmanship. You will mentor helpers into lead installers and own the department’s standards and efficiency.

You’ll drive quality checks, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with sales, service, and warehouse teams to keep work flowing. EPA 608 preferred; valid license required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Experience leading install crews as lead installer, foreman, supervisor, or manager.
• Strong knowledge of equipment changeouts, ductwork, gas piping, electrical, airflow, and local codes.
• Experience with permits, inspections, and code compliance.
• Experience with field-service software (ServiceTitan or similar).
• EPA 608 certification (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support residential install crews from helpers to lead installers.
• Run job-site and post-install quality checks to ensure code and company standards.
• Plan crew assignments and daily workload with dispatch to start and finish on time.
• Manage labor hours, materials, and equipment to hit budgets and margins.
• Keep permits, inspections, and code compliance moving without delays.
• Onboard new installers and build a clear path from helper to lead.
• Ensure crews arrive on time, protect homes, and resolve install issues quickly.
• Set and enforce job-site safety standards.
• Collaborate with sales, service, warehouse, and ops leaders for smooth handoffs.
• Provide field support on complex installs and troubleshooting.
