Job summary

American Rooter & Drain is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Lead in Caldwell, ID to oversee residential and commercial HVAC installations. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate with the plumbing crew, and ensure projects stay on track and up to code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or 5–10 years of hands-on experience.
• EPA 608 Certification and OSHA 30 Certification required; NATE Certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write reports and discuss technical issues clearly with customers and crews.
• Solid math skills and good problem-solving judgment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC installations from start to finish, ensuring safety and quality.
• Lead and schedule a team of technicians and subordinate supervisors.
• Inform customers on progress and address concerns on-site.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting to the crew.
• Coordinate with plumbing to integrate HVAC with building systems.
• Perform quality checks to ensure code compliance and company standards.
• Maintain accurate work orders, invoices, and documentation.
• Train technicians to develop their skills over time.
