Job summary

American Rooter & Drain in Caldwell, ID is seeking an experienced Technician Supervisor to lead residential and commercial HVAC and plumbing service teams, coaching technicians and ensuring high service standards.

You will balance technical knowledge with leadership, coaching on customer communication, sales opportunities, and quality workmanship, while maintaining safety and procedures. This is a full-time role with growth opportunities and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential and/or commercial HVAC or plumbing field experience.
• Idaho Journeyman license in Plumbing or HVAC is strongly preferred.
• EPA 608 certification is preferred for HVAC background.
• Experience supervising technicians, lead roles or service management is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop residential and commercial HVAC and plumbing technicians.
• Conduct ride-alongs and hands-on coaching to improve performance.
• Monitor performance, productivity, customer satisfaction, and sales results.
• Help technicians identify customer needs and present repair or replacement options.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and documentation.
• Review completed jobs for quality and proper documentation.
• Support technicians with customer concerns and escalated service situations.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
