MID-FLA Heating & Air is seeking an HVAC Install Helper to support our technicians with residential and light commercial projects in Melbourne, FL. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and clear paths for advancement in the HVAC trade.

Responsibilities include assisting with installations, repairs, and startup testing, plus site prep, safety, and tool handling. A high school diploma or GED is required, and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a relevant apprenticeship is desired.
• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn HVAC trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians and installers with system installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain job sites, ensuring safety standards and company procedures are followed.
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment for each project.
• Help with ductwork fabrication, assembly, and sealing.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and start-up of HVAC systems.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and work areas in clean and organized condition.
• Follow direction from lead technicians and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Represent Mid-Fla Heating & Air with professionalism and strong customer service.
