Elmer's Home Services is seeking an HVAC Install Helper to support our technicians with residential and light commercial HVAC projects. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and opportunities for advancement within the HVAC trade.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Completion of a relevant apprenticeship (Desired)
• In‑depth knowledge of HVAC systems and their inner workings.
• Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians and installers with system installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain job sites, ensuring safety standards and company procedures are followed.
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment for each project.
• Help with ductwork fabrication, assembly, and sealing.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and start‑up of HVAC systems.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and work areas in clean and organized condition.
• Follow direction from lead technicians and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Represent Elmer's Home Services with professionalism and strong customer service.
