Job Overview

Southern Home Services, a leader in residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical services across the United States, is seeking a dedicated HVAC Install Helper to join our growing team. We value work-life balance and are committed to supporting our employees' growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HVAC Lead Install Technician with installing, upgrading, and replacing HVAC systems in residential properties.
• Ensure all installations meet safety standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Protect client property using floor savers and drop cloths.
• Complete jobs on time, adhering to scheduled appointments and on-call hours.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting over 50 pounds, working in tight spaces, and in various weather conditions.
• Work safely on scaffolds and ladders at heights.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality work.
• Customer service oriented with professionalism and adaptability.
• Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged; Spanish speakers are supported.
• Basic PC skills, familiarity with MS Office, and email management.
• Ability to read and write effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Certification (training provided if needed).

Physical Requirements

• Lifting 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Climbing ladders, working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Standing, walking, sitting, and using hands for handling objects.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
