ER Services in Mint Hill, NC is seeking an HVAC Install Helper to join our team. This entry-level role assists HVAC Install Technicians with residential and light commercial system installations while learning the trade through hands-on training.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and eager to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry, with opportunities for skill advancement and company-provided tools and support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoors.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, thermostats, and related components.
• Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment for daily jobs.
• Maintain clean and safe job sites before, during, and after installations.
• Follow lead installer instructions and company installation standards.
• Support testing, startup, and basic system verification.
• Communicate professionally with customers when appropriate.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Participate in training and develop technical HVAC skills.
