Job summary

Happyhiller is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to support the Lead Installer in various installations and services. The role involves installing HVAC equipment, sheet metal duct systems, and connecting gas lines. Applicants should have prior experience in HVAC, possess analytical skills, and excellent customer service capabilities.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in the HVAC industry as an HVAC Install Apprentice.
• Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Installer in installing HVAC related equipment.
• Install Sheet metal duct systems.
• Connect gas lines to heating equipment.
• Cut and thread pipes.
• Wire both line voltage and low voltage to heating equipment.
• Install copper refrigerant line to air conditioning units, soldering and brazing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

Support Lead Installer in:

• Installing HVAC related equipment.
• Installing Sheet metal duct systems.
• Connecting gas lines to heating equipment.
• Cutting and threading pipes.
• Wiring both line voltage and low voltage to heating equipment.
• Installing copper refrigerant line to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Prior work experience in the HVAC industry as an HVAC Install Apprentice.
• Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

• EPA Certified or pursuing.
• A High School diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.
• Valid driver’s license
