Mauzy is hiring an experienced Residential HVAC Helper Installer in Escondido, CA. Join a long-standing Southern California contractor delivering premium residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical services with a focus on customer care.

Responsibilities include assisting with installation, ductwork, system startups, testing and troubleshooting while maintaining safety and quality on site. Paid vacation and strong benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC experience.
• Proficient knowledge in different models of HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install complete HVAC systems following manufacturer guidelines and local codes (air conditioners, ductless minisplits, air handlers, furnaces).
• Install and seal ductwork for optimal airflow and energy efficiency.
• Perform system startups, test balancing, and ensure proper operation with no leaks.
• Troubleshoot installation issues on-site and recommend upgrades.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and team members to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe job sites, adhering to HVAC codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Help Install complete HVAC systems following manufacturer guidelines and local codes. Systems include air conditioners, ductless Mini splits, air handlers, furnaces, and more.
• Help Install and seal ductwork systems for optimal airflow and energy efficiency
• Perform system startups, testing, balancing airflow, and ensure proper operations and there are no leaks
• Troubleshoot installation issues on-site and recommend upgrades
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and team members to ensure all work is being completed on time
• Maintain clean, organized and safe job sites. Following all HVAC codes and industry standards.

• 3+ years of residential HVAC experience

Pay Transparency:

The starting average rate for this opportunity ranges from $65K-$150k/Annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). It assumes a rate based on location and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
