AAA Service Network in Brighton, MI is seeking a full-time Install Technician to perform retrofit replacements for HVAC systems as part of a crew. You’ll conduct safety and performance tests, check for CO and gas leaks, and communicate clearly with homeowners about progress.

The role includes hands-on training, truck inventory upkeep, stocking, and collecting payments at job sites, with emphasis on customer service.

Qualifications

The primary duties of an Install Technician are to perform retrofit replacements for HVAC systems. Working in crews to remove and replace furnaces and air conditioners. Safety and performance tests are conducted for each system(s) as well as checking the area for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. A heavy emphasis is placed on customer service. Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, maintaining truck inventory levels, among others. Communication with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed.
