Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a proactive Branch Assistant to support the sales and service team, assisting customers by phone or at the counter and focusing on order fulfillment. This role acts under the direction of a Branch Manager or another associate to ensure accuracy and timely processing of quotes, pricing, orders, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish customer rapport to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle office calls and direct as appropriate.
• Serve as branch contact for contractors for orders and information.
• Prepare bids and material requests with job details and charges.
• Follow up on bid projects and update sales team on status.
• Input orders into computer to create delivery tickets or POs.
• Advise on backorder timing and credit situations.
• Coordinate with internal functions and suppliers to assist customers.
• Maintain literature and submittals in the branch.
• Provide basic product technical support.
• Maintain outbound call schedule to obtain sales.
• Occasionally pull customer orders from warehouse.
• Travel for meetings and training as required.
• Other tasks as assigned by Branch Manager.
