Job summary
Comfort Systems USA Ohio in Cincinnati is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – HVAC & Hydronics to support clients in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. You will evaluate systems and develop practical engineered solutions for construction, retrofit, replacements, and design-build projects.
Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in mechanical engineering, strong HVAC/hydronic knowledge, and experience with design tools like AutoCAD or Revit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC and hydronic systems.
- Experience with system design, load calculations, and applicable codes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary mechanical/HVAC engineering resource for the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky market.
- Partner with Sales to evaluate customer needs and provide technical direction for proposed solutions.
- Review existing system conditions, drawings, equipment, and customer requirements.
- Develop practical, cost-effective engineered solutions for HVAC and hydronic systems.
- Support estimates, scopes of work, equipment selections, layouts, and proposal development.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and field leadership from concept through construction, startup, and closeout.
