Treated Air Company in Becker, MN is hiring an HVAC Helper to support our installation team on residential heating and cooling projects. This is a hands-on, learn‑on‑the‑job role with paid training and real advancement potential in the HVAC trades.

No HVAC experience is required. Bring a strong work ethic, basic tool use, and a willingness to learn, and you will develop the skills to progress into more advanced positions. Full-time, Monday–Friday, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of construction, mechanical, maintenance, or other hands-on work experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning HVAC.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to follow instructions and learn from experienced team members.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a crew.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and organize equipment, tools, and materials for daily projects.
• Assist installers with furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment.
• Prepare homes and work areas before installations begin.
• Help with ductwork and ventilation components.
• Measure, cut, drill, and prepare materials.
• Use basic hand and power tools.
• Move and position HVAC equipment with assistance.
• Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized.
• Learn proper HVAC installation and safety procedures.
• Support equipment startup and project cleanup.
• Provide homeowners with a professional and respectful experience.

What You’ll Do

As an HVAC Helper, you’ll support experienced installers on residential heating and cooling projects while learning the trade on the job.

You’ll help:

What We’re Looking For

Previous HVAC experience is not required.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• At least one year of construction, mechanical, maintenance, or other hands‑on work experience

• Ability to cut, drill, and work with common construction materials

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a crew
• Valid's driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Construction, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, maintenance, manufacturing, warehouse, or other skilled trade experience can provide a strong foundation for this position.
